Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I share what Jesus is teaching me in my writing and my photos. I'm so glad you're here!

In the Good...

In the Good...

Over the years I have learned that God wants us to Radiate His Joy in the good, the bad, and the unknown. I have also learned that it is usually easiest to radiate that joy in the good. What does it look like to radiate God's joy in the good or what does it mean to do this? God created us to be his vessels.

"We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand." Isaiah 64:8

He  has hand crafted each and every one of us and we all go through different successes, mountain tops, and high points in life. That's exactly why all of us need to be able to radiate His joy when we go through these parts of life. Earlier I said that I have learned these are the moments that are easiest to shine His light, that's because when God blesses us with success or the next big thing in our life we can't help but to be grateful and thank God for all that we have. However, when we go through tough times it's difficult to remember to be thankful for God and how He can use every situation for His good. In the next post we are going to dig deep on how to radiate God's joy in the bad and tough things we go through and why it's important that we are able to do this as followers of Christ.

I challenge you to start a journal of things you are grateful for and list out some easy ways you can radiate His joy to those around you. This list could include things such as: paying for a strangers coffee, smiling at someone you usually ignore, praying for someone who was hurt you, giving your time to serve at a local mission,  or inviting someone to church.

xoxo,

Rachel Marie
